We have not had any luck with any housekeepers in 7 years. I enjoy cleaning our home and despite working 40 hours a week I found that I was still better than any others I’d hired. Some of the issues we experienced in former services was 1) constant rescheduling/no showing, and 2) not really cleaning but making it LOOK like it was clean. We went through four housekeepers in 5 years. Overall I’d say it was the lack of professionalism displayed. One of the housekeepers once asked me if she could bring all 6 of her kids here while she worked! Another became upset that I expressed feedback. Who needs to pay for that kind of awkwardness! I’ve had the opportunity to try a few other services, and I’m sure it would have been wonderful, but I’d already been so leary I did not. So the last 2 years I cleaned our home, but work has stepped up so dramatically lately that I admit I need help.

I thought I would give it one last chance and I am so thankful. !! I came across the Radiant Home Cleaning service in a walk in the neighborhood as the car had an ad. The first walk thru where she does the consult is the best experience I’d ever had with a cleaning service. Kate will ask thoughtful questions as she considers how best to do the job. She takes notes! I’d never seen such attention to detail before. And on a slightly personal note, I loved even more that there are no unsolicited editorials on your home. Kate offers services as suggestions and is respectful about it. The work is impeccable and spotless, of high quality and training. Our home feels and smells fresh. Her initial deep cleaning was so well done that I didn’t realize the house needed attention in certain places until it was done (the island light pendants), to name one. The oven was a big job and it was magnificently clean. The pricing is competitive and her crew shows up on time in appropriate work attire (scrubs!). In fact, I would say the work this crew does is downright clinical. I spend my days working long hours and I didn’t know how much exhaustion I was causing to myself by “trying to do it all”. Now I kind of don’t know how I’ll live without her. I have found this service trustworthy and nothing removed/stolen. (It’s not happened yet - I think this is the big taboo of the industry) For such a young just starting out kind of enterprise I really admire the hard work ethic! The time I save brings me the kind of rest I need to care for my patients in a much better way now too. Bottom line is, if you are in need of a discerning, hard working crew, please do try the Radiant Home Cleaning Services owned and overseen by Kate.
